 B. 1958 - Born in Bedfordshire, England, in 1958 Simon Bull was educated at Ripon and Croydon before going to art schools in Cheltenham and Leeds. He has rapidly become one of England’s most popular printmakers with an international reputation for his etchings and watercolors. The first of his many one man exhibitions was held at the Hong Kong Hotel, Hong Kong in 1976. Since
then his work has been exhibited at the important Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Mall Galleries, Olympia and the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

To the seller (and we believe the artist would agree), the "red poppy" has always been Simon Bull's signature piece and while he did several of them this is one of his best.
