Purchased 8-24-87 at Lahaina Galleries. Have original sales invoice. Last appraisal dated 10-16-90 from Lahaina Galleries for $12,000. Original owner. The painting is a beautiful desert landscape, and unlike any of Casay's other paintings. He used the "glazing" technique, which gives a translucent effect to the painting and the appearance of an inner light source. Motivated seller will consider all reasonable offers.
