The painting is of Composer and Producer, Michael Baldwin. Leroy Neiman created this artwork for Baldwin, while he played, “Angels on Horseback” (One of Neimans favorite songs). He later told Baldwin, “Michael, I know you, but don’t throw this away. It might be worth a motorcycle some day.” Created in 1978 during Neimans most serious period. |
