Art Brokerage is proud to announce that David Dorsey will be our featured artist in the month of June 2007. David Dorsey is a new, emerging artist. Since he began exhibiting in the spring of 2008, his award-winning work has been selected for exhibition at museums, galleries and universities across the country, in places as diverse as Manhattan, San Diego, Cincinnati, and Hilton Head. Prior to last year, while engaged in a career as a writer and author—publishing a novel with Viking and a non-fiction narrative with Random House—he’d spent many years experimenting, developing his work, while selling paintings occasionally to private buyers, but rarely exhibiting. Three years ago, he began to devote himself almost exclusively to painting. Dor'ssey work is very much influenced by the masters especially Wayne Thiebaud.
