B. 1955 - Craig Bone has earned a reputation as one of the greatest names in the world of contemporary wildlife art. He has achieved his success through a combination of hard work and dedication to the study of animals in their natural habitats. He spent his childhood in the bush of Africa, where he developed a strong interest in wildlife and began painting. Having completed his education, he decided to pursue a career as a full-time artist, specialising in wildlife art. He now works from his studio in the African bush, sketching and photographing the wildlife around him. He travels extensively throughout Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe, capturing the feel of wild Africa. The artist has held many successful exhibitions in Austria, Germany and England and demand for his paintings has always greatly exceeded supply.
