‘Tete de Femme en Gris et Rouge sur Fond Ochre’
This work of art were selected and reproduced from the personal collection inherited by Marina Picasso, PABLO PICASSO’s granddaughter. After Pablo Picasso’s death in 1973, Marina Picasso authorized the printing of these original lithographs, which have come to be known as the PICASSO ESTATE COLLECTION. All of the unique works of art represented by Marina were created after the original oeuvre of PABLO PICASSO on hand drawn lithographic plates under the supervision of chromist Marcel Salinas, who worked closely with PICASSO during his lifetime. The Limited Edition lithographs are printed in accordance with the PICASSO lithographic standard, starting with exacting hand drawn plates combined with the usage of first quality, acid free museum Arches paper.
Each edition is limited to 500 original lithographs and hand numbered and signed by Marina Picasso with the embossed seal of the Estate "Approved by the Heirs of PABLO PICASSO", and the embossed seal of the chromist.

What is a Picasso Estate Collection Artwork?
In 1962, at the height of his career, Pablo Ruiz Picasso produced a notebook of images that demonstrates the greatness of his talent. Upon his death, Picasso left it to his granddaughter Marina Picasso. Marina published the collection in 1980 in collaboration with the renowned chromist Marcel Salinas, who had worked with Picasso on the famous "Imaginary Portraits" series. A master in the art of chromolithography, Salinas reproduced the images in this collection on hand-drawn lithographs.
This collection of limited edition works is called The Marina Picasso Collection. It is also known as the Estate Collection. To ensure authenticity, each print is signed and numbered in pencil by Marina Picasso and embossed with the estate and chromist’s seals, along with the legend ‘Approved by the heirs of Pablo Picasso’.
