B. 1928 - Born in Argentina, Julio Le Parc settled in Paris in 1958. A year later, he co-founded the Groupe de Recherche d�Art Visuel. He is now seen as one of the leading figures of Kinetic Art. Le Parc�s work is systematically produced according to scientific principles. As a performance artist, his goal is to involve the spectator in a planned experiment, eliminating the possibility for their subjective responses. Le Parc also creates metallic mobiles.
