    Art Brokerage: Alberto Castro Lenero Mexican Artist: b. 1951. Alberto Castro Leñero is a Mexican artist born in Mexico City in 1951. From 1971-1978 he studied Graphic Communication and Visual Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM ) . From 1978 to 1979 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy . During this period he worked as an illustrator for various cultural and educational publications . From 1982-1987 he was a teacher of Visual Experimentation at the National School of Plastic Arts of the UNAM . In 1996 he participated in the exchange program based in New York , USA. He is a member of the National System of Art Creators ( SNCA ) and participates in projects of urban art as " elements " in the Public Transport System ( CTS) . He currently works in painting, sculpture and graphics.
