Aygun Arslan

Art Brokerage: Aygun Arslan Turkish Artist: b. 1945-2004. Born in Ä°zmir at 1945. She is graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Fine Arts Faculty, Painting Department. She finished her master degree at the same University's Social Science Institute, Painting Main Art Department. She prepared her master degree thesis about the subject "A Search On Styles Directed Towards Body's Artistic Expression in Modern Art". She held personal exhibitions and participated to group exhibitions. She won lots of awards, certificates of honor and certificates of achievement. She had worked as lecturer on Basic Conception and Basic Art Education in Dokuz Eylül University, Fine Arts Faculty between 1997 and 2004. Her works take place in private collections at home and abroad, in public and private sector. Historical and contemporary examples are influential on Aygün Arslan's artistic interest area. She tries to add enthusiasm and energy while interpreting effects, appearances and changes of the ruins, in all area in their historical process, that coming up to our day, without damaging figures' archaic structure. While reflecting worldly joy of life in her works, her tendency of forming color – place – material, shows us her own peculiar way. She gives sense to the values coming from the past to our day, while considering her works in scientific and artistic way. Aygun Arslan passed away on 2004 and left lots of beautiful artwork behind.
