Art Brokerage: Dan Ostermiller American Artist: b. 1956. Dan Ostermiller, was born 1956 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Exposed at a young age to the artistic handling of animal forms while working with his father who was a taxidermist, he is best known for his understanding and depictions of animals. He chooses to focus less on the physical form, taking a more compassionate and insightful approach with a focus more on personalities, moods and compositional shapes of the figures. His bronze sculptures have won many awards and honors and his works are on display in numerous galleries and public venues including the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Wyoming State Capitol, Grand Teton National Park and Denver Art Museum.
