Mexican artist Edmundo Aquino studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas in Mexico, the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, and the Slade School of Art in London. Aquino has participated in numerous major exhibitions, including the Paris Biennial and the Sao Paulo Biennial and at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City and the Galeria de Arte Mexicano.
