Kenneth Goldsmith

Art Brokerage: Kenneth Goldsmith American Artist: b. 1961. Kenneth Goldsmith was born in 1961 in Freeport, New York. He was basically trained as a sculptor at the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated with a BFA in 1984. Before becoming a prominent poet and writer, Goldsmith worked for many years within the art world as a text-based artist and sculptor. In 1996 he established iconic UbuWeb, a large web-based educational resource for avant-garde material and has hosted a weekly radio show at independent WFMU from 1995 until 2010. In recent years, Goldsmith is working a senior editor of PennSound at the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches. Listings wanted.
