Mumford's impressive achievements and enormous success are due to his ability to transform any subject matter into visual poetry. His work continues to draw critical acclaim with 50 shows, including solo exhibitions in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and has been awarded the Fluerieu Landscape one day painting Prize merit, and first prize twice in a row and peoples choice in the National Just Nudes Prize. People Choice Award, Clifton Art Prize 2011. Finalist, Merit Award Mclaren Vale Harvest Festival 2012. Finalist for drawing, international Saatchi showdown 2011. Finalist in the Business SA Advertiser contemporary art awards 2012. Also He has been an award finalist in the in the prestigious Hans Heysen Prize, Mortimore Prize, International Aethetica Art Prize (England) and Fleurieu Vista Art Prize 2011, the worlds richest landscape prize; Winner of Wilsons Prize 2013. His work is held in the collections of the Art House Hotel (New South Wales), Adelaide University, and numerous government and private collections through out London, southern USA and Southern Australia.
