Marc Ferrero
FranceArt Brokerage: Marc Ferrero French Artist: b. 1963. He grew up along the French Riviera. Now known as the creator of storytelling art, his early drawings were inspired by comics, TV and movies from the 70s. His art often fragments and sections these stories into compositions. Marc's early training included an apprenticeship focused on charcoal drawing, acrylic and oils. Completing his studies by age 16 he traveled extensively, developing narratives and characters for story boards and comics. Eventually he began to present and promote his sketches and story boards to Comic editors. He soon won the prize Oliver Srelli for his story board titled 'Art in the City'. In Paris Marc experimented with a larger scale and departed from comics to the world of fine art. His paintings were curated for exhibition in Brussels in 1992. This project depicted an adventure between New York and Monaco where three principal characters were given life on canvas. The success led to an exhibit in New York in 1999. Bolstered by the attention of the art world he returned to France and a growing demand for his works in Europe. Since that time over 5000 master pieces have entered private collections around the world with no less than 1500 in the US alone. Listings wanted by Art Brokerage.
