Art Brokerage: Ron Jermyn American Artist: The process of becoming a sculptor began at the age of seventeen and continues to be exciting and fulfilling. Techniques began and developed, working directly with metal through a construction process. Creating the sculptures though building them, welding, hammering, grinding and finishing, the pieces evolved. As the worked has advanced additional materials and techniques have been incorporated. The results are reflected in a balance of form, line, texture and patina. The subject of fluid or liquid forms represents the current creative effort. The work seeks to reflect the energetic power of the liquid state to transform. Energy released in an ocean wave or a spring shower, brings transition.
