He is a self-taught sculptor, who, at the beginning of his career showed the influence of Ricardo Ponzanelli, later Humberto Peraza and Heriberto Juarez. He initially produced human figures in static poses, with his work later becoming more abstract. In 1990 he created several works in diverse formats, stepping into the realm of large format. In his work, mostly in bronze, the artist demonstrates his mastery of space in his capability of schematizing figures, perfecting them to the point that we can feel each piece, touch them and enjoy them from any angle.
