Ann Parker

Art Brokerage: Ann Parker American Artist: Trained as a painter, graphic artist, and photographer, Ann Parker holds a BFA degree from Yale University. For the past decade she has been experimentaing with a new imagery that is artistically and technically a dramatic change from her former photographic career. She calls this new body of work Botanical Metamorphics. Without using either film or camera, she passes light directly through fruits, flowers, and vegtables. When projected onto color sensitive paper, the resulting photograms reveal the inner essence of plant life with extraordinary clarity. Over the past decade she has had fifteen major one person exhibitions of her work and represented in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Listings wanted.
