Ann Stockdale

Art Brokerage: Ann Stockdale American Artist: Ann Stockdale is a painter, born in Miami, who started her career as an actress after graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. After a stint on Broadway and a few film appearances, Ann became interested in developing her creative ideas in a way that expressed her own world vision. "Myself Inclined" is Ann's art and music memoir, which reviews some of her many adventures with music icons in London in the musically fertile 60's, such as Jimi Hendrix, Steve Winwood and Dr John and is filled with many of her colorful paintings Always in the background of her young life was her passion for rhythm and color which culminated in her growing desire to express herself visually. She dedicated her creative life to painting in 1989 and has shown her work in many Galleries. Her work has been sold on Cruise Lines and she has been honored with a solo show at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle. Her work has also been seen at the Tacoma Art Museum and at the Cocoran Art Museum.
