Ann Wahlstrom

Art Brokerage: Ann Wahlstrom Swedish Glass Artist: Ann Wåhlström has made glass for companies from Ikea through to Kosta Boda and is well known for her sense of colour and simplicity of design. Her inspiration comes from nature, ancient architecture and children's book illustration (she cites Moomin creator Tove Jansson as a huge influence). For the past few years Wåhlström has been producing glass works handblown in Seattle and Tacoma where she collaborates with hugely talented blowers that can offer her a different perspective from her Swedish roots.
