Story / Additional InfoFrom the artist: "I call these Miracle Towers because they give me the sense of the miracle of flight. All the angles are designed to be moving upward. Each side is a triangle so they are technically pyramids and have pyramid energy. Pyramid is strength and balance so this is 10' tall but only 1" wide at the bottom so it is perfectly balanced. Pyramid energy goes from the core of the earth to the heavens. The verticality of the sculpture has a sentry like male, protective energy and the surface has an organic fluid female energy so these sculptures are the perfect balance of male and female, yin and yang. This Corten steel sculpture is a triple tower because it is made of three Miracle Towers welded together, The tallest is the thinnest, The shortest is the widest and the middle tower gives the sculpture a perfect balance of weight and form. Corten may be the best steel for sculpture because the oxidation protects the steel. This steel is so good that bridges are now made of Corten."

Charles Sherman - United States
Art Brokerage: Charles Sherman American Artist: b. 1947. Charles Sherman is an American artist best known for his continuum sculptures, especially the three-dimensional Möbius, or infinity ring, a form first visualized by the 19th century German mathematician and astronomer, A. F. Möbius. The enigmatic infinity ring has no beginning and no end; the bottom side becomes the topside, and the inside becomes the outside. Sherman's infinity ring sculptures are mysterious, their curving forms an expression of absolute beauty. His award-winning work has been exhibited widely in the United States and Asia, and is included in museum collections. Sherman has interpreted the infinity ring form in diverse materials, including bronze, ceramic, glass mosaic, aluminum, Lucite and stainless steel. His many sculptural variations reflect Sherman's study of ancient civilizations, religions and cultures from around the world, and sacred geometry. Paralleling ancient Feng Shui principles, the never-ending circular nature of Sherman's infinity ring sculptures promote infinite love, healing, abundance, harmony and serenity.
