His influences include Wilson Hurley who focuses on depth perception encompassing the vast large picture of Southwest landscapes, and Eric Sloan of the National Academy who focuses on the big sky and cloud formations in his work. Dennis uses the phrase "cloudscapes" as a way of differentiating his part realistic, part fantasy paintings from more traditional realism. Listings wanted.
Looking for the painting Fallen Angel No 8. by Fritz Scholder. Saw an exhibit at St.Paul's School in Concord, NH in the '90s of his work and this painting was included in the exhibit. Looking for either the original or a reprint.
