Kruglyanskaya's figures are curvy—far from the thin models of fashion advertising—and they dress in chic patterns, high-heeled shoes, and figure-hugging garments. At times, it's difficult to tell where the figures end and the backgrounds begin. The artist's bold palettes and vivid brushwork draw attention to these women's outfits and their expressions: Both contribute to a sense of personality and individuality. Kruglyanskaya's canvases can be tinged with humor, though they reject any clear narratives. She has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, London, Rome, and Berlin.
