Art Brokerage: Fiona Rae British Artist: b. 1963. Fiona Rae is a painter of abstract forms, bright colors, and hypnotic designs. Born in Hong Kong, she moved to England where she attended Croydon College of Art from 1983 to 1984 and Goldsmiths College from 1984 to 1987, where she earned her BFA in 1987 with honors. In 1988 she was one of the artists exhibited in Frieze, an art exhibition curated by Damien Hirst (British, b.1963). The Frieze show started the Young British Artists (YBAs), and Rae became a prominent member of the group. Listings wanted.
