Story / Additional InfoFrom the artist: "Mars was the Roman god of war. The bull, adorned with Roman helmet and shield, is the embodiment of the Roman god. I believe that every one of my sculptures should be in some way unique, so I do not make editions. Based on a representational icon, I create a series of sculptures. Each is similar, but slightly different in some details and elements. Sometimes variations are subtle, some differ substantially from each other. Usually, I do not make more than eight variations in a series."
