As a child, he scares the hell out of his little niece by making his finger a work of art with a large nail 'through' and with a bandage dripping with blood around it.rnHe will study at the academy of industrial design in Eindhoven (now design academy).rnIn addition to painting, Jan Peter teaches for years as a teacher of visual arts and manual skills, after which he establishes himself as a free artist. He embraces a wide range of disciplines such as painting, sculpture and various graphic techniques. He constantly undertakes study trips to countries within Europe, but also beyond. After his mega exhibition in 1998 under the roof of the Grande Arche in Paris, Jan Peter's work is gaining more and more appreciation, also in larger circles.
