Art Brokerage: Javier Saenz Pedrosa Spanish Artist: b. 1951. Javier Saenz Pedrosa was born in Palencia, Spain in 1951. From early on, Javier showed similar artistic talents as his older brother, Fernando. Followingn his artistic vocation, he moved to Madrid in 1967 where he attended college. After graduation, he began his career as an artist and held his first exhibition, beside his brother, in León. Other exhibitions ensued in cities such as Madrid, Palencia, Valladolid and Burgos. His paintings also were hung at the art halls of the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, a very prestigious, luxury hotel in Santiago de Compostela. Javier Pedrosa displays the maturity of an established painter – while his coloration is skilled with tonalities that are right to the point and always coherent with the subject matter – delivering amazing technique with ease as only a true artist can. His female figures are the center of attention in his works, which overflow with sensitivity and pleasure and continually expressn harmony, structure, depth and beautiful tonalities. Many of his pieces are signed "Saenz", referencing his mother's family name. Javier lives and paints with his brother Fernando. Perfecting their techniques together, their works can hardly be distinguished apart. Listings wanted.
