Story / Additional InfoThe Four Seasons." Bartlett uses her signature collage method to compose each image. Several motifs and subjects are repeated in each image, creating a narrative that ties the group of prints together: swatches of plaid, a handprint, playing cards, a skeleton, and the same open field as setting. "Spring" is characterized by dark skies, rain, and lush greenery.

Art Brokerage: Jennifer Bartlett American Artist: B. 1941-2022. She was born in Long Beach, CA. She is known for her painted images that appear to move back and forth in a progressive way, Jennifer Bartlett conveys a sense of computer systems operating behind the visual movement of her work, which is both abstract and realistic. She studied with Jack Tworkov and James Rosenquist. Her collections can be seen at the useum of Modern Art in NY, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY and the Whitney Museum of Americna Art in NY. Bartlett is best known for her paintings and prints of mundane objects—especially houses—executing in a style that combines elements of both representational and abstract art. In 1981, she created a two-hundred foot mural for the Federal Building in Atlanta, Georgia. Bartlett has completed commissions for Volvo, Saatchi & Saatchi, Information Sciences Institute, and Battery Park. Listings wanted.
