In his piece Estudio de Cabeza de Ángel, the artist sculpts the bust of a disfigured man with decaying skin and a large beak, reminiscent of mythological characters. "I wanted to share with a major audience one of my obsessions, which is the possibility of going beyond our physical limitations," he said of his work.
