Jules Pascin - Bulgaria
Art Brokerage: Jules Pascin Bulgarian Artist: b. 1885-1930. He was a Bulgarian artist from Vidin, prior to relocating to New York and France. He was most recognized for his paintings, graphic art designs, fresco murals, illustrations, mosaics and printmaking, as well as his abstract, modernism and cartoonist styles. His works primarily focused on nudes, genre, satire and parody, humor, figures and historical subjects. Pascin's art has been exhibited at the Panama Pacific International Exposition of 1915 (San Francisco World's Fair), the Art Institute of Chicago, the MacBeth Gallery of New York City, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Armory Show of 1913 in New York, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the National Academy of Design and more. He was affiliated with the Salons of America and the Woodstock Art Association. Later, Pascin served as an instructor at the Art Students League of New York. Paintings wanted.
