"11th Hole, White Dogwood, Augusta National Golf Club AP 1996 - Georgia" by Linda Hartough - 🔥Limited Edition AP Lithograph $2,200
Provenance / HistoryThis is a limited edition print produced from the artist's original oil painting which was commissioned by the Augusta National Golf Club.
Story / Additional InfoThis is the 11th hole of the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Masters Tournament held since 1934. This hole begins Amen Corner, a name given by Herbert Warren Wind in an article for Sports Illustrated in 1958 after Arnold Palmer won the tournament. Each hole is named for a flower or tree and this hole is White Dogwood that line the fairway. The wind is often a factor as the ball flies toward the green guarded by a pond on one side and a bunker on the other. Many remember the chip-in shot in 1987 made by Larry Mize to defeat Greg Norman in a playoff. The hole is a par 4, currently 505 yards.
