Lord Tim Hudson of Birtles - United Kingdom
Art Brokerage: Lord Tim Hudson British Artist: b. 1940-2019. George Timothy Hudson known as 'Lord' Tim Hudson, was an English DJ. He worked in Los Angeles for KFWB during the mid 1960s and was the manager of The Seeds and The Lollipop Shoppe. He was also a voice actor, an artist and a sports manager, notably of the cricketer Ian Botham. Lord Tim and Lady Maxi moved back to America in 1990. They sold their house in Santa Monica on Boxing Day and moved to Palm Springs, playground of the rich and famous. Lord Tim became immersed in his art, starting with a series of storyboards from the entire collection of the iconic magazines Life (circa 1936-70) and the Picture Post (circa 1938-57). He became a fixture at the Palm Springs street fair and was soon commissioned to paint a 5'x7' Storyboard dedication to the last sixty years of Palm Springs that currently hangs in the Palm Springs International Airport. Collectors began to take notice including Bill Gates and Mel Gibson. The Staples Center in Los Angeles and the San Diego Auto Museum display his work. Even the World famous Apollo Theater has a Lord Tim Storyboard celebrating 75 years of music history, featuring the legendary James Brown and over 50 jazz, blues, and rock and roll artists who have appeared on stage at the historic venue. The art world is taking notice of the artist from Palm Springs. Listings wanted.
