Ludwig Lofgren

Art Brokerage: Ludwig Lofgren Swedish Glass Artist: Ludvig Löfgren joined Kosta Boda as a designer in 2007. He has previously worked as a glassmaker and independent craftsman and has contributed to a number of exhibitions, some of them as one of the nine members of the craft group 'We Work in a Fragile Material'. He trained at art school before he became a student at Orrefors School of Glass. He continued his education at Pilchuck Glass School in the USA. Upon returning to Sweden, he commenced his studies at the College of Arts and Design in Stockholm. He majored in glass and ceramics. During his time as a student he won a number of scholarships, and in spite of his young age he is represented at Statens Konstråd (The About Ludvig Löfgren state's arts council) since 2001.
