Art Brokerage: Michael Long British Artist; b. 1951. Michael Long was born in Chatham, Kent, England in 1951. Michael Long specializes in the theme of "Dance". His interest originated while attending the Goldsmith College. His strength as a sculptor is his ability to "choreograph" his figures as they would appear in a performance, depicting the sensual movements and form of the female figure. Much like a conductor, he creates and orchestrates the rhythms as the performance would present itself. He us not creating "portraits" but is interested solely in the theme and subject. Form, shapes and movements are his focus as he loves the anatomy and the challenges of bringing the form and character to life. Listings wanted.
