Michael Maiden - United States
Art Brokerage: Michael Maiden American Sculptor: Michael Maiden was raised on the family cattle ranch in Southeastern Washington State. With a keen insight of the natural world, Michael pursued formal art studies. A 1972 graduate of Central Washington University, Michael earned a bachelor degree in fine art and education. In the spring of 1972, Michael was off to the Fort Knox Armor School, for basic training with the Washington Army National Guard. Upon his return Michael was employed by the Walla Walla, Washington public school district, where he taught art. 1975 was milestone; Michael resigned his teaching position and opened the Maiden Foundry, his dream studio. Michael found success early producing bronze sculpture for world famous artists, as well as his own work. The Maiden Foundry grew to be the largest art foundry in the western United States. Michael is most known as the world's leading sculptor of the American Bald Eagle, his favorite subject. Michael's work can be found in personal and corporate collections worldwide. Listings wanted.
