Art Brokerage: Nikolay Semenovich Lysak Russian Artist: b. 1951. Nikolay Semenovich Lysak is Russian painter and teacher. Nikolay Lysak was born on February 3, 1951 in the city of Cherkassy, Ukrainian SSR. In 1979 he graduated from the Odessa Art School. In 1982 he entered the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. IE Repin, graduating in 1988 with a degree in "painter-painter, teacher", having defended "excellent" diploma "Leningrad Symphony". In 1991 he graduated from the creative workshop under the leadership of the President of the Academy of Arts of the USSR B.S.Ugarov. Since 1993 he has been a member of the Union of Artists of St. Petersburg. In 1997, at his own expense, Nikolay Lysak organized a gallery in the premises of the "Blue Living Room" of the Union of Artists, retaining the historical name. The former cinema hall, adjacent to the gallery, has been renovated and reorganized into an exhibition space. For more than 20 years, the "Blue Drawing Room" under the leadership of Nikolay Semenovich Lysak has been popularizing the creativity of artists of St. Petersburg, organizing exhibitions in memory of the departed masters of the Leningrad Art School.
