Nikolay Lysak was born on February 3, 1951 in the city of Cherkassy, Ukrainian SSR. In 1979 he graduated from the Odessa Art School. In 1982 he entered the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. IE Repin, graduating in 1988 with a degree in "painter-painter, teacher", having defended "excellent" diploma "Leningrad Symphony". In 1991 he graduated from the creative workshop under the leadership of the President of the Academy of Arts of the USSR B.S.Ugarov.
