Pavel Molnar (* 8 February 1940 in Vojnice, Slovakia) is a major European glass blowers, glass artist and pioneer of the Studio Glass movement. He now lives in the Bohemian ÄŒesky Krumlov. After high school, Pavel Molnar attended the glass school in Železny Brod. in 1965 he moved to Germany. Here, he worked as a laboratory glass blowers in the industry. In 1967, he created works of art. Molnár founded his own workshop in Munich in 1968 and worked as art glass blowers in the Deutsches Museum in Munich as a freelancer. In 1977 after Barsbüttel, where a workshop with its own port furnace was built in the same year, the establishment of a training center for glass production and glass bubbles before the lamp moving followed in 1981.Two years later Molnar received a lectureship in Stanwood United States at the Pilchuck Glass School. In 1990, he took part in the International Glass Symposium in Gus-Khrustalny/CIS. in 1991, he held a teaching position at the summer school of SARS-Poteries in France.
