    Art Brokerage: Richard Hallier American Artist: b. 1944-2010. During the years of 1984-1988, he began sculpting. Richard produced his first life size figurative bronze. He also produced hundreds of contemporary abstract stone sculptures and bronze abstract figurative pieces in limited editions. He exhibited regionally and nationally and became included in many corporate collections and museums: NCNB corporate collections, Wachovia Bank, R.J. Reynolds, Northern Telecom, Hickory NC Museum of Art, and many others. During the years of 1989-1999, he produced over 70 life size figurative bronzes, ½ scale versions of many of them. Some highlights include: One of the top three artists at New York Art Expo, NC Arts Journal cover feature, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Commission, "Dance" NC School of the Arts Commission, 13 Life size bronze athletes for the University of North Carolina, the Olympic Headquarters Entrance Piece (four figures), and a commission for two figures at the Brook Green Gardens in South Carolina. He produced the World's largest figurative silver casting. Richard Hallier spent his last three years sailing with his wife in Florida. He enjoyed visits from all of his family members during the holidays. Richard died from pulmonary fibrosis on April 17th, 2010 in Punta Gorda Florida at the age of 65. Listings wanted.
