Art Brokerage: Robert McGinnis American Artist: He is an American artist and illustrator. A member of the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame, McGinnis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1926. He studied fine art at Ohio State University and apprenticed at Walt Disney Studios. In 1958, he started working for Dell Publishing drawing paperback covers for books. McGinnis is known for his illustrations of over 1200 paperback book covers, and over 40 movie posters, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Barbarella, and several James Bond 007 vintage posters and Matt Helm films. His favorite subjects are alluring ladies, tranquil nature and Old West scenes. Listings wanted by Art Brokerage.
