Art Brokerage: Roman Podobedov Russian Artist: b. 1920- 2003. Roman Podobedov was born in 1920. Graduated from Penza Art School in 1939. Studied in the Studio of Gorushkin-Sorokopudov. Began exhibiting in 1946. Member of the Union of Artists in 1951. Solo exhibition in Riga, Latvia in 1980. Important shows include "Soviet Russia", Moscow 1996. Specialises in genre, landscape and portraiture painting. Many of his paintings have found their way to private collections in the USA, Great Britain, Russia and France. His works are held in Tambov and Jurmala Art Museums. Listings wanted.
