Story / Additional InfoPainting appears to be of the Cathedral Rock area around Sedona, Arizona. Ronnie Hedge committed his life to painting some of America's most famous landscapes. He also painted EXACTLY as he saw it. If there was a dead animal along a stream Ronnie was painting, it was in the painting.

He tacked odd-shaped canvas onto plywood strips until he learned that canvas was meant to be stretched first! That was the first in a long career of self-taught lessons that would bring him to his own amazing style of painting. As a young man he traveled to live in the West–the Grand Canyon and the Rockies–and was inspired for a lifetime of capturing the spirit of these great American treasures on canvas.
