Art Brokerage: Trevor Mikula American Artist: Trevor Mikula is a self-taught, contemporary artist. His unmistakable style of painting has the ability to put a smile on anybody's face, due to the whimsical yet sophisticated style that his art portrays. Taking inspiration from the people and things around him, Trevor paints with a vivid imagination, vibrant paint and a palette knife. However, Trevor credits his major source of inspiration to his dog Moe, which is one of the reasons why Mikula is infamous for his pet portraits. Trevor has been a full time artist for the past fifteen years, and his work can be seen locally throughout the Nashville area and galleries in Scottsdale, Santa Fe, Tucson, Charlotte and Asbury Park. The Estate of George Rodrigue created a proprietary ink to stamp on print editions originally designed by George Rodrigue and released by the Rodrigue Estate posthumously. The one-of-a-kind ink formula includes several security measures that guarantee the authenticity of Rodrigue Estate editions. The stamp measures approximately 1.5 x 3 inches and is screened directly onto prints issued by the Rodrigue Estate.All prints sold directly by the Rodrigue Estate are also accompanied with a certificate of authenticity indicating the number of the print purchased from the estate.
