Art Brokerage: Vladimir Afanasievich Ovchinnikov Russian Artist: b. 1945-2015. Vladimir Ovchinnikov was born on 4 October 1941 in the Perm region, in 1945, he moved to Leningrad. By the early 1970s, the artist developed his own style, which combines art and ironic primitive. Since the mid-1980s, his exhibitions are held in the United States and Europe. Fame Ovchinnikova brought paintings, combining the "magical realism" of landscape and genre painting with elements of traditional religious iconography. The artist's works are in the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Museum of fine Arts (Beijing), Art Museum (Tartu), AOK-GALERIE, düsseldorf, Rutgers Museum (New Jersey) and many others.
