Thomas Schomberg has spanned the last four decades in which Schomberg has described, with his realistic intensity, the time, environment, and society in which he lives and we are all captives of. Today, Schomberg's sculptures are world-renowned and are exhibited and collected internationally. His collectors represent a diverse group including corporations, entrepreneurs, museum directors/curators, private individuals, and professional athletes. Amongst his collectors is film actor Sylvester Stallone, who later commissioned Schomberg to create the iconic Rocky statue for the movie, "Rocky III". While he continues his passion for portraying the athletic figure, Schomberg's works have evolved into more emotional images best described as his "metamorphic series". These present and future "column series" are less didactic in nature and are more emotional in theme, representing compelling images of significant American events. Listings wanted.
