Born in 1966 in Shiraz - the Iranian "famed valley of poets and philosophers" - Babak Emanuel has been inspired by art all his life, intrigued by the symbiosis of music and its visual counterpart. Drawing from a very young age, he eventually made his way to the Atlanta Institute of Art, where he studied painting and photography. Also an accomplished serigrapher, Babak Emanuel has become an internationally known and collected artist, with numerous exhibits under his belt, and more to come. I am looking for one of his pieces that is a submarine, made also as a monument at the US Naval Academy, commemorating the 100 years of submarine service. It was completed in 99 and the monument for 1900-2000 America's Submarine Centennial. Thank you for your time!
