Art Brokerage: Billy Al Bengston California Artist: B. 1934. Billy Al Bengston studied at different colleges in Los Angeles and San Francisco, finishing at the Los Angeles County Art Institute (now Otis College of Art and Design). In 1956 he exhibited for the first time in a collective exhibition at the Six Gallery, San Francisco. He had his first one-man exhibition at the Ferus Gallery, Los Angeles, in 1958. In 1965 he was represented at the 8th Sao Paulo Biennale. In 1968-69 he exhibited in various museums in the USA. In 1971 he was represented at the USA West Coast exhibition, which was also shown in Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne and Stuttgart. He is a member of the California 60's artists including, Joe Goode, Peter Alexander, Laddie John Dill, Ed Ruscha, Larry Bell, Craig Kaufman. Listings wanted.
