Provenance / HistoryCreated in 1978 by Frank Howell for a landscape show of more than 40 oil on panel paintings, each presented in custom frames and many lighted with picture lights. "First Show" is a painting of the foothills west of Denver and incorporates the exquisite detail and subtle colors found in Howell's figurative paintings. 

Story / Additional Info"First Snow" was part of the 1978 Howell landscape show and was purchased from the Carlson-Alexander Galleries, Ltd. in Denver Colorado.
