Art Brokerage: Geeth Kudaligamage American Artist: A graduate of State University New York, Buffalo and University of Visual and Performing Arts of Colombo, Sri Lanka – Geeth has exhibited in Sri Lanka, U.S.A, Japan, Korea and Bangladesh. During his artistic career, he has had eight solo exhibitions and about twenty group exhibitions. His works are in private and public collections in USA and in Sri Lanka. Geeth graduated at University of Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo Sri Lanka with a First-Class Honor pass and later received a Full-Tuition scholarship from SUNY Buffalo together with Teaching Assistantship and the Frances R. and Louis B. Morrison Memorial Scholarship. He obtained his Master's degree there at University at Buffalo in 2005. He also received a scholarship from Smithsonian Institution at Washing ton D. C for Museum Exhibition design studies. Geeth has been working as an art educator in Sri Lanka and USA namely, at University of Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo Sri Lanka, University at Buffalo, Northern Virginia Community College, Art Institute of Washington – Dulles, and Art Institute of Washington. A member of College Art Association since 2005, he received Outstanding Painter of the Year Award two times, the highest award presented for artists by the Government of Sri Lanka and several other award for numerous times. He is a practicing artist and educator continually contributing to arts and art education for last twenty some years. Listings wanted.
