For decades he is successful both commercial as well in developing his art. In 1996 he was chosen and prized by a national bank being most popular artist. His work is shown on a big led screen 80x20 meters and where chosen by the Rolling Stones to hang in their hotel rooms. Tange often donates work for charity.
