Art Brokerage: Park West Artisr: Jim Warren American Artist: b. 1949. Jim Warren, born 1949, an American artist, at the forefront of Neo-Surrealism (post Dali), achieved another level of international fame in 2011. Long known for his sensuous nudes, wild horse images, and "spectacular imagination," in 2011, Warren's two nude paintings, "Sexual Explosion" and "Re-Birth" were named Most Famous Nudes since the nudes of Picasso, Dali, and Modigliani. In 1981, Warren first achieved world recognition when he won the Grammy Award for the cover art on Bob Seger's "Against the Wind album, which went on the sell over 6,000,000 copies, thus making it the most world-famous horse icon in contemporary art. In addition, he has painted horses in over 36 original paintings, many with limited edition prints. Warren is also recognized as perhaps the most viewed living painter on YouTube, where many art videos are devoted solely to his works of art. (In fact, many original Warren artworks are mistakenly presented as Salvador Dali paintings in videos devoted exclusively to Dali's art). Warren's art is collected by countless Hollywood celebrities from the film and music industry. He has done collaborations with renowned Marine artist Robert Wyland and has license approval with Disney for art projects. Two of his art books, "The Art of Jim Warren: an American Original," and "Painted Worlds," are international best-sellers. Paintings wanted.
